We only install LVP with a 12-mil wear layer or heavier for residential use. Thinner products look the same in the store but show scratches within a year.
Most installs use click-lock floating systems — fast, clean, and replaceable. We use glue-down for high-humidity spaces like below-grade rooms where movement is a concern.
LVP amplifies any subfloor imperfection. We flatten high spots and fill low areas to within 3/16" per 10 feet before laying a single plank — it's what makes installs look perfect long-term.
We let materials acclimate in your home before install. Skipping this step — common with fly-by-night crews — leads to gapping as temperatures change.
Modern LVP uses high-definition printing with embossed-in-register textures. The grain you feel lines up with the grain you see — it's genuinely hard to tell from hardwood across a room.

Can LVP go over my existing floor?
Usually yes — LVP can go over most existing hard flooring as long as the surface is flat and in good condition. We assess during the estimate.
Is LVP good for Salem's weather?

How does LVP hold up to dogs?
